Whatever Happened To The Retro Show?

The Retro Show is still here...sort of. In May 2023, we started a podcast called The Retro Show Podcast. It was an ... HOMAGE (iykyk) ... to growing up in the 70's and 80's and basically a celebration of all things Gen X. We produced 60 episodes of The Retro Show and had a blast doing it.

However, we found we wanted to branch out into topics outside the scope of the nostalgia based Retro Show. We toyed around with starting a second podcast about our beloved home state of Arkansas called Talking Arkansas, and even produced a couple of episodes. But little things like families and work would have made juggling two podcasts problematic.

So, the decision was made to just have a single podcast. We wanted a podcast that would allow us the freedom to talk about whatever we wanted! So instead of trying to build a new podcast from the ground up, we decided to change the name of The Retro Show to The Butch & Chris Show to better reflect the changing theme of the podcast.

So, whatever happened to The Retro Show? It's still there! The first 60 or so episodes in our list are Retro Show episodes.
